Some evenings stay with you forever, and this was definitely one of them.

As the sun slowly dipped toward the horizon at Hen Wen Caravan Site, the sea turned to gold and, in the distance, Ireland appeared through the evening haze. A real treat to stand here and watch the sunset with such an incredible view stretching across the water.

There’s something special about caravan life on evenings like this. The

peaceful countryside, the quiet sounds of nature, and the excitement of spotting another country across the sea. From our little corner at Hen Wen, we found ourselves waving across the water to Ireland as the sky glowed orange and the landscape settled into dusk.

Moments like these remind you why you travel. Not for the rush, but for the stillness, the scenery, and the memories made watching the world slow down.
